Here They Lie environments were a collaboration between me and fellow Senior Environment Artist, Stephen Ratter with the guidance of Art Director, Richard Smith. I worked on the majority of the game levels and in many areas was responsible for the early level design, from block out to final modeling, lighting and texturing. I was also responsible for ensuring all characters and character assets had proper PBR materials. The environment took heavy influence from Brutalism and is meant to evoke a sense of oppression and dreamlike horror. The game was made for PSVR but can also be played without a headset.
